Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. - Hebrews 11:1

Welcome to

Faithful Publishing

We are a small independent press and are unable to accept unsolicited manuscripts.

Our production committment through 2007 excludes us from accepting more projects at this time.

A word to wise about queries. Writers should consider the query to be the same as an interview for a job. Most would agree that a job interview requires the interviewee to be dressed appropriately and to present his/herself in the best light possible. It's really your best and only shot at demonstrating your level of skill for composition, grammar, imagery and clear, concise communication. A query that has not even been spell-checked or has glaring grammatical errors is not unlike wearing a mismatched ill-fitting jog suit to an interview for an executive position.

It is a given that once a bad first impression is made in the interview there is never a call-back.

When we are accepting queries, we consider brief synopsis by email only. Before spending your precious time and ours please carefully consider the type of books we represent.

• Books classified as Inspirational

• Books printed digitally (Print On Demand)

• Books with broader marketing potential and not necessarily destined for bookstore shelves

Consider also, even though we do things differently, we have the same standards as any traditional publisher and every book we accept into our library will be well-crafted. This includes grammatically and typographically correct. If we agree to read a manuscript we will expect from the author no less than a simple, unformatted, single-spaced, spell-checked, Microsoft Word document file saved in chapters.

Omit needless words. Vigorous writing is concise. A sentence should contain no unnecessary words, a paragraph no unnecessary sentences, for the same reason that a drawing should have no unnecessary lines and a machine no unnecessary parts. - William Strunk, Jr

Writing is hard work; good writing is even harder. Publishing is practically impossible. - A Fields
